Rotomotive Powerdrives India Ltd, incorporated in August 2006 is an Indo-Italian joint venture producing 3 phase AC motors and worm gearboxes in India. Rotomag Motors and Controls Pvt. Ltd and the Indian promoters hold 51% stake and Motive Srl and the Italian promoters hold the balance 49%.

Motive Srl, is a part of the RIB group which is a leader in Europe in automated entry systems. Motive has been growing consistently at over 40% CAGR with more than 50% sales coming from Exports.

In a short span, Rotomotive has gained acceptance in various industry segments like textiles, printing, packaging, agro, machine tools, process industries and HVAC.
